Individual Therapy

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and it’s normal to wonder where to begin. I provide one-on-one therapy for teens and adults in Alabama, both in-person and online, supporting challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, and spiritual questioning. If you’re unsure about starting, feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.

My Approach to Therapy

My counseling style is collaborative and compassionate. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), tailoring our work to your unique situation. I see therapy as a shared process—you bring your experiences, challenges, and goals, and I bring a different perspective to help you explore them. Therapy is both a process and a relationship: we move at your pace, approach challenges with curiosity, and reflect together. I’m not here to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you build self-acceptance, gain clarity, and take steps toward a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

Internal Family Systems

IFS is a gentle, evidence-based approach that helps you understand the different “parts” of yourself—like the critical, anxious, or wounded parts—and how they interact. By noticing, listening to, and caring for these parts, you can reduce internal conflict, heal past wounds, and build greater self-acceptance.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT is a evidence-based approach that helps you notice and accept difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences without letting them control your life. It focuses on clarifying your personal values and taking committed, meaningful action in line with your values. ACT can help reduce anxiety, and support lasting change.
